Non-fungible tokens (NFTS) are one-of-a-kind digital assets that can be validated and identified using metadata and ID codes on a blockchain (most often Ethereum). Their "non-fungible" nature distinguishes them from bitcoin: if you exchanged bitcoins, you'd receive the same item, but if you traded one NFT – you'd get an entirely new asset. This is due to the fact that NFTs differ in terms of quality and kind.
